Nessma Bashi provides alternative legal services to refugees and asylum-seekers residing in Greece, particularly to individuals who fall outside the scope of humanitarian organisations. She was a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court, and held posts with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. She has also served at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.
