Michel YOBOUE holds a Ph.D in geoscience from the University Paul Sabatier, Toulouse III, France. He has been working as a human rights defender for over 15 years. He was co-chair of the African Coalition on Corporate Accountability until 2021.
He is currently the Executive Director of the Groupe de Recherche et de Plaidoyer sur les Industries Extractives (GRPIE) a civil society organization based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
