French Business & Human Rights and duty of vigilance consultant: I support French international companies in the formalization of their global human rights approaches, and in particular in the implementation of due diligence processes as required by the French law and international frameworks (drafting of human rights policies, identification and analysis of risks linked to companies activities / countries, or communication and reporting on human rights).

I am the Executive Officer of the association "entreprises pour les droits de l'homme " [companies for human rights] ( www.e-dh.org ), which includes, at the end 2020, 19 large French companies of various sectors which work together to integrate human rights into their policies and practices. The activities of the association are focused on the operational implementation of due diligence, defined by international frameworks and on the application of the French duty of vigilance law. I work in particular on the development of management, training and raising awareness tools to help the employees understand this subject, still complex for companies. I also manage good practices working groups on new requirements and issues for companies.

As lawyer by training on international human rights law, I am specialized on companies & human rights since 2008, so I have followed the evolutions of the international reference frameworks and expectations on companies towards the recognition by all of the principle of due diligence, as well as the current development of national legal frameworks which aim to make this principle binding for companies. Working on a daily basis with large companies allows me to translate in a pragmatic and operational way these new requirements.
